Why Join the Nut Swamp School PTA?

There’s no better way to know what is happening in your child’s school and the district.  We are a large school in a large town.  Stay informed by joining us at our PTA meetings.

  • Witness Improvement. By being an active member in your child’s school’s PTA you can make positive changes.  The PTA is the #1 driving force in fundraising to provide our students with curriculum-based enrichment programs, social events, and supplemental building improvements.

  • Be a Role Model. Most importantly, by becoming a member of our PTA, you will be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on their education and being an active member of the school community.

What does the Nut Swamp PTA provide to our School Community with our fundraising dollars?​

  • Purchases Take Home Folders and Daily Planners annually for our students

  • Provides classroom funds for teachers to purchase additional educational tools/supplies

  • Coordinates with various companies several in-school Enrichment Programs for our students throughout the school year       

  • Provides school events such as Fun Day, the Fifth Grade Event, Family Fun Nights, etc.

  • Created and maintains a community garden

  • Improves and maintains school grounds through our Beautification committee
