We are delighted to welcome both new and returning parents to Nut Swamp Elementary. We look forward to working with our amazing teachers and staff, with our Principal, Mr. Neil Leone and our Vice Principal, Angela Mero at the realm.
Sharing the responsibility this year as PTA Co-Presidents:
~ Michele Mittenzwei, served two years as Vice President on the Nut Swamp PTA Board prior as Recording Secretary. My son, Brett, is a 4th grader at Nut Swamp and I also have a son, Troy, in 7th grade at Thompson Middle School. A resident of Middletown for 4 years, currently employed full-time at a Publishing Company and proud owner of a local dog walking business.
~ Erica Berowski, last year I served as Recording Secretary on the Nut Swamp PTA Board. My Daughters, Addison and Carly, are in 2nd and 5th grade at Nut Swamp. I have been a Middletown resident for over 10 years, my family and I enjoy living in this town and being part of such a great community. With my previous trade show and event planning experience, I truly love being a part of such an active PTA and planning amazing activities and events for our students.
Each new school year typically brings excitement and anticipation, along with the promise of learning and growth. This year, though, we have the challenge of staying safe, healthy and connected, while helping our children succeed through a pandemic. Our children are resilient, we know our Nut Swamp family will rally through and we will have a stellar year.
Whether a new PTA member or a returning member, we thank you for your contributions, time, and commitment to our organization, our teachers and most importantly, our students. Your participation in the PTA, whether it is attending PTA meetings or joining a committee, is a valuable addition to your child’s Nut Swamp experience.
